The Story
The Arizona Trail is one of the most scenic and challenging routes in the U.S. At 800 miles-long and with over 100,000 feet of elevation gain, it takes most thru-hikers 6-8 weeks to complete. Last Spring, Joe McConaughy tried to hike it in just 12 days. With the help of a support crew made up of family and friends, Joe faces the physical and emotional peaks and valleys on one of the United States’ premiere long trails.
