Stereotypes

I first met Kevin at the New England School of Photography.  Neither of us was an enrolled student, but we both took advantage of their community class offerings.  If you were registered for one of their photography classes, you could have 24/7 access to their darkroom.  Kevin and I were part of a small group of people who made sure we were always enrolled.

On any given night, in a darkroom beneath the Citgo Sign in Boston’s Kenmore Square, a small group of us could be found moving about, working on developing and printing photos.  Kevin was always there.  He had been working on a series that clearly meant a lot to him.  He agreed to let me document his work, so I’ll let Kevin tell you about the photographs himself.
